Lance Lamb was born 1968 in Northern California. The Lamb family moved to Alaska in 1976 where he continued to learn by working around building construction, developing, & real estate during his summers as a youth. At the young age of 25 in 1995 he obtained his own Alaska Contractors license & started to remodel & add on to many Anchorage area homes. Many contracts were residential & some commercial along the way.   In 2002 Lance began designing & building new construction. To date Lance has lead his clients and associated companies in completing over 450 contracts in Alaska & Alabama. In 2007 Lance chose to move his family to reside in the South Eastern/Gulf Coast Region of the United States, along the Eastern Shore of Fairhope Alabama. Lance brings sought after experience to the South Eastern Region of the United States with his passion for high value, quality, energy efficient designs & buildings.   His experience in development & real estate also qualify him in a unique way to help others gain exposure to products & the benefits available. Many don’t know about existing programs in the green building industry or how to tie them into their current projects: this is the only way Lance has ever designed or built--so it’s just a normal everyday activity.

By completing many projects in the extreme building (cold/dry) environment of Alaska & the (hot/humid) environment of Alabama his diversified experience is perfect for consulting & energy modeling. The basis of his experiences comes from his participation in the US Government’s , HUD (Housing & Urban Development) program. HUD has been involved with research, education & administrating BEES (Building Energy Efficiency Standards) in Alaska, where Lance grew up building since 1993. Lance has been a member of the Alaska Building Science Network & held a BEES rater certificate for many years.

To date, still at a young age Lance has designed & constructed over 30 energy rated homes, including one (5) Five Star Home, all this while simultaneously overseeing other energy conscious projects since he went out on his own in 1995. His vast building, leadership & design experience on these projects is closely tied to details, included, but not limited to the environment. His meticulous insight has won him and his colleague’s contracts & awards on many occasions over the years. Lance has a tireless passion to raise the bar & improve the quality of housing: vastly increasing the level of health, vastly increasing the level of comfort by designing & using building science techniques.  Few know that Lance’s homes have always been built to a 4 star + rating, a mark above the required minimum 4 star rating standard. To make a point in Lance, in 2003 before “Green” was a buzz word, on his own initiative, he designed, built, marketed & sold one of the few five star homes in the Anchorage Alaska area at that time. He has always used his abilities & determination to promote a healthier, environmentally friendly home/ habitat: Yes, it has now finally become a true reality to see his passion emerge, blossom & still growing stronger. Lance’s determination & expertise also continue to grow with each passing year as he continues to build, explore, & educate others on Designing, Building, & Living Green.
